About Me.
After teaching in private and public colleges and universities in the Midwest for five years Karen moved to Maine where she has lived and worked ever since. Now Professor Emerita, she taught Printmaking, Drawing, and Bookmaking at the University of Maine at Augusta from 1987 - 2017.
Her print works have been exhibited nationally and internationally, and she is the recipient of many awards and recognitions. Karen is also the owner and Artistic Director of Artdogs Studios (since 2005), and Circling the Square Fine Art Press (since 2007) in Gardiner, Maine.
